SciatiEase vs Sciaticyl: Which Should You Buy? (2026)
A side-by-side look at SciatiEase and Sciaticyl — formula, evidence, safety, price and who each actually suits. No affiliate links appear on our comparison pages.

Quick verdict
SciatiEase, on ingredient selection. It is built on PEA, R-alpha lipoic acid and acetyl-L-carnitine — the three compounds with the strongest human neuropathic pain data — and it publishes a 300 mg ALA figure. Sciaticyl is a reasonable B-vitamin and magnesium formula, but its actives track the literature less closely.
Neither is a treatment for any condition. If you take medication or have a health condition, check with a doctor before choosing either.
Side-by-side comparison
| Feature | SciatiEase | Sciaticyl |
|---|---|---|
| Lead ingredients | PEA, R-alpha lipoic acid 300 mg, acetyl-L-carnitine, B complex | B1, B6, B12, magnesium, NAC, acetyl-L-carnitine — 11 ingredients total |
| Best-evidenced component | PEA, with several meta-analyses in chronic and neuropathic pain | B12, where deficiency is the actual cause of the nerve symptoms |
| Dose disclosure | Publishes the 300 mg ALA figure; other amounts need checking | Blend-level; the B6 amount is the one to verify |
| Serving | 120 capsules, four daily | Once daily |
| Main reservation | A four-capsule serving cannot hold study doses of PEA and ALCAR together | B6 above 100 mg long term causes the neuropathy it is sold to treat |

Both share the same fundamental limit
Neither addresses mechanical compression, and that is what roughly 90% of sciatica is. A disc bulge or spinal stenosis pressing on the L4–S1 nerve roots does not respond to anything swallowed. Where both products have genuine relevance is metabolic neuropathy — diabetic, B12-deficient or alcohol-related — which produces similar symptoms from a completely different cause. Before choosing between them, work out which you have, because in the first case neither is the answer.
Why SciatiEase's ingredient list is better matched
PEA acts on PPAR-alpha and on the mast and glial cells that sustain chronic pain, with meta-analysis support and a safety profile close to placebo. R-ALA has randomised evidence in diabetic peripheral neuropathy, most robustly at 600 mg. ALCAR has trial data in diabetic and chemotherapy-induced neuropathy. Sciaticyl's B vitamins and magnesium are defensible but narrower — B12 matters where deficiency is present, and does little where it is not.
The B6 point applies to both
Vitamin B6 above roughly 100 mg daily over months causes peripheral neuropathy. Several products in this category contain enough to matter, and the symptom it causes is indistinguishable from the one being treated. Check the figure on whichever you choose, and add up any other sources including a multivitamin.
Frequently asked questions
Which works faster?
Neither is fast. PEA builds over 4–8 weeks; B12 repletion takes weeks to months. Anything you notice in the first few days is more likely expectation than effect.
Can I take both?
There is overlap — both contain acetyl-L-carnitine and B vitamins — so you would be stacking doses without knowing the totals. Pick one and give it eight weeks.
Should I see a doctor first?
Yes, and particularly if you have leg weakness, saddle numbness or bladder changes. Those are cauda equina symptoms and a surgical emergency.
